How to get to LeakyCon!
LeakyCon and the Hilton Chicago Hotel are easily accessible via Chicago’s many transportation centers so whether you are making your way to LeakyCon by plane, car, bus or the Hogwarts Express, find all of the information you need to get to the conference here!
AIRPORTS
Chicago has two major airports, Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Midway Airport.
Via public transportation from O’Hare International Airport:
Take CTA Blue Line Train (to 54th/Cermak) to Jackson/Dearborn stop. Walk 0.6 miles Southeast.
Via public transportation from Midway Airport
Take CTA Orange Line Train (Orange Line) to Roosevelt. Walk 0.5 mile N.
Via Car from O’Hare International Airport:
Follow signs for I-190 East. Take I-190 to I-90 East. I-90 will merge with I-94. Take I-90/94 approximately 18 miles to Jackson St. Exit Jackson St. Drive 1/4 mile on Jackson St. Turn right on Michigan Ave. Hotel is 5 blocks down.
Via Car from Midway Airport
Take I-55 North to Chicago North on Lakeshore Drive. Left on Balbo. Hotel is two blocks on left.
TRAIN
Amtrack trains operate through Chicago’s Union Station in which is conveniently located close to the hotel.
Chicago Transit Authority fares, including those for Chicago’s elevated train system, The L, are $2.25 each way and $5.75 for a full-day pass.
BUS
Megabus offers inexpensive daily transportation to Chicago from many cities in the American Midwest.
